Career in teaching

Teaching has always been considered as a respectable and in demand profession. Its rewarding and purpose- driven too. To make a career in teaching, generally, a bachelor degree (higher education) is required. Diploma or Degree in Elementary Education or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is required or preferred based on teaching level. In addition to that, passing a Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET or State TET) is also required. For School level teaching or college level teaching, consider one of the following path: 10+2 + D.Ed. / B.El.Ed. B.Sc./B.A./B.Com. + B.Ed. or B.E./B.Tech. + M.E./M.Tech./UGC-NET/Ph.D. B.Sc. + M.Sc. + UGC-NET/Ph.D. Bachelor degree +Masters degree+ NET/(State level)/ Ph.D.
