10th or Matriculation

10th or Matriculation plays a very important part in every students life. After 10th every student has to choose a stream which sets foundation for his/her future career possibilities and planning. He/she should choose following streams depending on his/her interests:-
- Medical
- Non-Medical
- Commerce
- Arts and Humanities.

After 10+2

A student chooses a field of specialisation after 10+2. Most of the entrance exams for admission in various courses are conducted for 10+2 pass outs or students pursuing 10+2.

One can choose to pursue career in engineering, medical, commerce, and humanities, etc. Degree courses like BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA, BE, BTech, BArch require 10+2.

Company Secretary (CS)

Company Secretary is appointed by companies to take care of finance, legal and other matters of company. He acts as an important link between the Company, the Board of Directors, shareholders, Government and regulatory agencies.


Company Secretary is a professional course organized by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Earlier it had three stages but from June 2021, CS foundation course (first level) has been discontinued. It has two levels: CS Executive course(9 months) and therafter, CS Professional course(15 months). There is also a 15 months compulsory training required.

Eligibility criteria of CS Executive course:
12th pass in any discipline(except fine arts) and qualified of Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test(CSEET) or passed CS Foundation Exam.
Eligibility criteria of CS Professional course:
Passed CS Executive exam.

Chartered Accountant (CA)

Chartered Accountancy is one of much sought out careers among accounts students. A Chartered Accountant deals with taxation, business law, corporate law, auditing, accounting, corporate finance, etc.


The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India [ICAI] is authorised to regulate and conduct CA course. The Institute was established in 1949 under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 and is governed by a Council in accordance with the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.
A Chartered Accountant is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India [ICAI] who passes CA exams and fulfill other conditions.


Eligibility:
Any student appearing or passed 10+2 or Senior Secondary Examination can register for CA exam.


CA programme is divided into three sections apart from IT training and practical training:
* CA Foundation Examination (earlier CPT),
* CA Intermediate Course (IPC) and
* Final Examination
